It’s that time of year once again: the sun has shown itself for one day and already the legs are out, shirts are off and shades are on. But hot weather mixed with the wrong outfits can result in unwanted sweat patches, uncomfortable layering and delusional people fooling themselves into the hot pants they haven’t fit into for years.  So how do we go about looking effortlessly cool and glam in this weather?

Chelsea Hunt - known as Chelsaiya Maria Jager in the fashion world - first started her modelling career on posters advertising a new burlesque show. With her typical showgirl look going on to attract the attention of Tunnel Vision Photography, what started off as doing shoots for fun, soon escalated into a lot more.

Since then, Chelsaiya has gone on to model for the clothing brand Death Kitty, a more unusual and ‘punk-esc’ style of clothing.

So Hayley, how important is it to you to keep up with the latest fashions?

I find it important to keep up with the latest fashions but it is sometimes difficult. They change so often and are expensive so it's sometimes not possible to always be completely in fashion because I don't earn a lot of money.

But as a student living on a budget, do you ever find yourself putting fashion before necessities such as food or travel expenses?

I do tend to put fashion before everything else with my budget. I usually have no money left at the end of the month as I spend it on clothes, bags, etc straight away.
